Glimmer Galore

******************************************* **************************
For this card I spritzed the embossing folder then added the card stock and embossed. May be difficult to see but this method leaves a white highlight line around the embossed image.

. . . Eyes for you!

My very non-traditional valentine's card, "I only have eyes for you!"
The giraffe stamp is the African Queen from The Artful Stamper. I love it!
Unfortuantely, my pic doesn't show the folds in the black corduroy ribbon. A labels 17 was cut from grunge paper and distress inked with Black Soot & Weathered Wood. The DP is a flocked print from my stash.

MFP Challenge #42

Entering this in the MFP Speedy the Cat's Friends Challenge #42 and the StampTV color challenge STVCSP12. Unusual colors but I like the way this turned out. Wish me luck.

Faded Paint

Remember those old Victorian houses with all the different faded and peeling paint colors. This card reminds of them. I used the Tim Holtz wood grain embossing folder and this time I inked the left side of the folder, the side that would make the depression with Spun Sugar distress ink. Then lightly dragged the Tea Dye distress ink pad over the raised wood grain. Added an I/O circle birthday greeting inked in turquoise cat's eye. Then added diamond stickles for a bit of sparkle. The butterfly is an MS punch that I dabbed through some left over Liquid Pearls. A CAS card. Think I'm getting hang of these! LOL
