Happy Mother's Day

 Happy Mother's Day everyone!
I am so thrilled with this card! Working with vellum and H20s is so cool....the watercolor makes the vellum curl so you don't have to fuss with it...and the, for lack of a better word, manual embossing with a stylus helps give added dimension also. I used a combination of techniques on this card that I saw on the Heartfelt Creations site. Using the vellum and manual embossing - only she used this technique on a field of Irises background stamp card. I've used it on my focal point Iris and added SU ink pen and vellum leaves for more dimension. I love the way it turned out and hope you do to.

Old Mill

Doesn't this Old Mill invoke images of yesteryear? I love working with my new Heartfelt Creations' stamps. They are well made and leave a nice crisp image (wish my photos did same LOL).
All Easter cards have been moved to their own page.
Next up is Mother's Day!

Sorry it's been so long since I've posted anything. I've had some computer issues (to say the least)! And I was scrambling to get my entries done for our county fair. I'll be back tomorrow a.m. with my Easter cards. In the meantime, here's a card made using Glimmer Mist, a glimmer screen and a paper flower. The flower center is made of pearls and tiny beads.
Love the starburst effect on this one.
Have a great evening!
