Western Tag calendar

Oh do I have a fun project to share with you tonight! My inspiration came from Becca's Amazing Paper Grace blog, where she shared a coin envelope/tag calendar she received as a gift. Once I got started on this my calendar took on a life of it's own and became. . .
Here's a better view of the wood plaque it sits on.

Per the description of Becca's coin envelope/tag calendar everything should fit on a 4x4 coaster. My coin envelope accordion is a bit wider than hers and would not fit on a 4x4 coaster. And being is a western theme I thought a piece of wood was more appropriate. Once all of the monthly tags were inserted it wanted to tip over so I've wired to the wood base. :D The bronco rider tag is a place marker for when you pull out a monthly calendar tag. See next pic . . .
You open the binder clip and change out the months. There's a magnet in the coiled rope to hold it in place. Here's a pic of the back of the tag holder. Ignore the wood chips, they were used to raise it a bit...

I also added some wood button feet to elevate the wood plank. And here's a pic of the monthly tags...

Well, that's the full reveal of my sneak peek posted a few weeks ago. I will be entering this in our county fair next month. I love this, hope you do to. Till next time.  Enjoy!
