WOYWW 199

Where did the week go? I have projects ready just haven't gotten them uploaded to post. Aaagghh slow the down clock!

I took this pic Tuesday night as I left things...back this morning to finish up an ATC for the Fw/ATCs challenge.

There's all kinds of things pulled out to see what comes of playing around. Something new on the far left, stains, inks and pre-made backgrounds.

Thanks to Julia at the Stamping Ground for holding court for all of us snoopers. :)

'Celebrating' my milestone birthday on Sunday! That's right folks
I'm turning 60!!  Hope not too many of you fainted or fell off your chairs. :)

Have a great week!

  2. Well you certainly don't look it and your photos last week (or the week before - on the bike) didn't look like you were ready to be a senior.

I've missed a few weeks, but it's great to be back - and this time with my mother in tow! - and I'm sure she'd be the first to tell you that a better life begins at 60! Have a wonderful birthday, and happy WOYWW!

So there ya go ... many, many more years of riding that motorcycle! Besides there's always someone OLDER (LOL like ME!) Enjoy your birthday and Easter! What fun!

  11. Have a very special birthday, Nan. Thank you for your visit, and if you are interested in the Splodge Away Mat you could look at this link
http://splodgeaway.blogspot.co.uk/. There are also several videos on YouTube. The other place to go is to look at Barbara Gray (of Clarity Stamps) on her Classroom videos on the Create and Craft TV website. If you look a bit further back in my blog, I have written one or two things about ways to use the mat. I have the 12x12 inch one and have just treated myself to the baby one to take on holiday. Thank you for sharing all your goodies and your desk with us. I really enjoyed my mooch around, but I did put things back, honest. xx Maggie #17

  18. Oh, it's the best birthday ever, Nan!! I do hope you celebrate big, in spite of it also being Easter Sunday! Honestly, I can't believe the change (finally!!) that I experienced in putting things in proper perspective and not caring, or wasting energy worrying, about the "small stuff." It's a blast!

    Welcome to the "Free" Decade!!

  20. Hi Nan, thank you for your nice comment on my projects. My desk looks just like your's when I'm "working". Lately I've made a bigger effort to be neater...we'll see if that lasts. Love the color and texture of your lavendar fabric flower. Charlotte #16something this week.

  21. Thanks for the visit to my desk and not spoiling the drying stuff.. *teehee* it's all dry and I already worked on my 'box of longing' some more! I LOVE what you have on your desk.. I'm totally into ATCs lately myself. The template on the left - is it a template? With the 'doilies'? - looks marvelous, especially those numbers. Happy Easter and a very VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!
