WOYWW 203!

Welcome to my place. Not much happening on my crafty desk today

So I will show you my stash closet.

Yikes, what a mess. Embossing folders stacked and falling, Nesties and sizzix dies not put away! Tons of scraps that need to be sorted and filed. Yep, a clean up day in store for me today.

Will try to visit more peeps this time around. I think I just barely made it round to all who stopped in last week.

Do visit our hostess in this mad snoop dash around the world, Julia at the Stamping Ground for a list and links to all the great sites and the wonderful peeps who play there!

Celebrate the day.

WOYWW's fourth anniversary is speeding towards us! Yikes, me thinks the next couple of weeks I better concentrate on making ATCs. From what I've read on the WOYWWers blogs, there's going to be a lot of participation!

No idea of what I speak, do visit The Stamping Ground for the deets of why we show the world our crafty desks.

As you may have read in the previous post, I'm taking my class on the road. So instead of my craft desk I've moved to the work table in the class room in my house. I needed the extra room to lay out all of the supplies for each card. I then boxed up everything putting each card's supplies in its own box.

Messed up my back so I'll be taking it easy till Thursday, which means I probably won't get do any visiting snooping until Friday.

Have a wonderful week.

Celebrate life!

I'm ready...

...for my next class. It's a bit of a stretch for me as there'll probably be 10 in this class and my max is usually 5, as I hold the classes in my home. For this week's class I'm also going on the hours drive away! Wish me luck that I don't forget anything. Always nice to have the stash handy, I just run down the hall and grab what we need. :)

I haven't really posted my class cards on my blog so thought I would this time. I'm very happy with these, simple yet showing techniques they may not be familiar with or have done in the past.

Celebrate the day with me!

paper: bazzill, stampin up, unknown dp
dies: spellbinders, memory box
stamps: gina k design, heartfelt creations, hero arts, just rite, and unknown
ink: memento, archival, distress and prima
from stash: ribbon, cheese cloth, swiss dots e.f., corner chomper, liquid pearls

WOYWW #201

Whoa! The weeks are flying by! 4th anniversary will be here before we know it! Are you ready? Do you have your WOYWW ATC done? me either!

Now if you're thinking "what the heck is she talking about?" pop on over to Julia's place for all the deets about the anniversary and WOYWW.

Well friends, a whole lot this and a little of that on my desk. This is how I've left it Tuesday night and wont get back to it till late this afternoon. We're going for a ride on the 'Glide. :)

So let's see, what am I doing - well, I've started kitting for my next class (on the left) the cards are over that side too. Took a break to play with some new metallic paints (woo hoo!) in the middle. Starting to pull stuff for my ATC for the FwATC challenge. Oh yea and testing a spray sealer since the matte medium I use streaks when used on anything water based. :( What do you use between layers? And lastly, trying to make paper look like burlap.

I'll be doing my snooping/visiting later tonight and tomorrow. If you'll leave your linky number I'll pay a return snoop. ;)

Celebrate.... the change of seasons. Yippee it's finally in the mid-80s F here!!

And a little something from Baby. She worked so hard to get Mr. Guppy out from under the TV cabinet where it was tangled in the all the cables, she had to take a rest. :)

Life is ... an ATC :)

Good evening folks,

I'm back with my final entry for the Fun with ATCs challenge #84 - Writing. I am also linking up with the Sunday Stamper week 251 - Nature over at Ink on My Fingers blog.

I've had such a blast working on these ATCs! When I saw the FwATC theme, the ideas just came pouring in. :)

For this one I've stamped a script background, added a few of the trees from an On the Edge die that have been shaded with distress inks. The sentiment has been cut apart into three sections and placed around the ATC. The tops of the trees have small bits of foam behind them to help them stand out from the background.

That's it from me tonight. Have a great weekend. I am Celebrating by having a crafty day with my snowbird friend.

supplies: bazzill cardstock, chipboard, TH on the edge die and ATC die, archival ink, distress inks, unknown sentiment stamp.

...our house, an ATC

Evening folks,

I am back with another ATC for the Fun with ATCs challenge #84 - Writing.
(Edit: I won FwATCs Top 3 with this one! woo hoo!)

For this one I covered a piece of chipboard with old book text and cut the ATC using TH's die then ran the ATC through again using TH's on the edge die, townscape. The houses were painted with wild honey distress stain and the grassy area with mowed lawn distress ink. To emphasize my sentiment, the middle house was colored with picked raspberry distress ink and paper pieced

middle house was originally dusty concord but was too dark

Using one of my grab bag stamps, I've added clumps of grass and small flowers. The whole ATC was edged with the sepia pitt big brush pen. I also used it to draw some shingles on the end house since it was partially cut off.

My sentiment is a portion of the repeating phrase from a song by 'madness' in the early 80's and would be the one I am more familiar with. When I cut this ATC those words came to mind so I went in search of them since they described my ATC - perfectly.

Here's ...our house, in the middle of...

Enjoy and Celebrate!

F w/ATC #84

Happy Tuesday all,

I'm back today with my first ATC entry for the Fun With ATC #84 challenge - Writing.

Not much to explain about this ATC. The background was in my backgrounds box, cut with the TH ATC die. I believe I was playing around with some d.i. stains when they were new and it looks like I might of spritzed some perfect pearls mists on it. The wordy background stamp is an old penny black wood mount and the frilly corners are off a TH set. Sorry I didn't write down the stamp set name.

The bird was in a grab bag of unmounted stamps I bought eons ago, that I've finally put on cling and into my stamp books. I believe it was inked in Paris Dusk and a bit of vintage photo on the edges. The brad was from my stash.

Well that's it from me today. See you tomorrow for What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

supplies: chipboard, bazzill cardstock, memento ink, distress inks, distress stains, brad, pitt big brush pen, penny black and unknown stamps.
