WOYWW 202

WOYWW's fourth anniversary is speeding towards us! Yikes, me thinks the next couple of weeks I better concentrate on making ATCs. From what I've read on the WOYWWers blogs, there's going to be a lot of participation!

No idea of what I speak, do visit The Stamping Ground for the deets of why we show the world our crafty desks.

As you may have read in the previous post, I'm taking my class on the road. So instead of my craft desk I've moved to the work table in the class room in my house. I needed the extra room to lay out all of the supplies for each card. I then boxed up everything putting each card's supplies in its own box.

Messed up my back so I'll be taking it easy till Thursday, which means I probably won't get do any visiting snooping until Friday.

Have a wonderful week.

Celebrate life!

  35. Hi Nan, thanks for visiting my blog, to see my crochet & bookbinding projects.

I've just had a bit of a look back, at some of your previous posts, as I haven't been here before. You're certainly a busy - and talented - card-maker! I would like to attend one of your classes - I'm sure I'd have a great time and learn plenty of tips too.
Great plan, to separate all the different cards into their own boxes. It does help to get it all sorted out in advance; I taught a week's bookbinding course, for the local Children's University, during the summer. I was sooooo glad I had spent time beforehand, preparing every book we would make (even the basic ones), counting out a set of paper etc per student, for each project. And I had each day's tools & resources set up in advance, then boxed up. I was really pleased to have done this - everything went so much more smoothly because of that - time well spent!
    Enjoy your cardmaking!

PS. I couldn't find the cards that I was going to send for the "rock guess" so I started making some more. Hoping to get out in the mail this week.

  40. Well, Nan, ... I could have sworn I commented on here. Sometimes I get the site pulled up and then I get called away and think I was finished or Mister comes along when I'm gone and closes my windows. Don't you hate that?!

I'll prolly see you tomorrow on WOYWW, but since I'm here, I just wanted to say I hope your back is all better. I know what a pain that can be. xxoo
