WOYWW 211

Hello deskers! Back to our mid-week world wide desk hop, thanks to Ms Julia of the Stamping Ground

My desk is my classroom table as I've been sorting and straightening up the studio. Getting ready to do a purge. This is the pile I showed a few weeks back on WOYWW that was precariously perched on my die shelf. So I'm putting dies into CD or DVD cases, typing labels for them and for the embossing folders. You'll see labels, my blackberry, my ever present diet Pepsi, laptop and assorted dies and embossing folders. The space to the right would be my ipad, except I'm using that to take this pic. I unfortunately do not have one of those cool canvas ipad chairs I see when snooping round your desks. :)

I do apologize for not getting round to as many I usually do, including those that visited last week. I'll blame it on my non-functioning hands. Really sucks sometimes when they don't work.  Oh well...

Celebrate today!

OMG Julia has the link open already!

  7. I was really caught off guard by Julia. I hadn't even posted, either.

Looks like you are in the throes of deep organization. Now to keep up with it. That's the hard part.

  21. The 'cool ipad stand' is a book chair that I got from a bookstore called Waterstones. Only saw the potential when DD wanted to get rid of it! Am sorry about your hands, its a bummer isn't it. Getting round the list is a tough job, specially with 'hands', so don't worry - everyone understands.

  26. Hi Nan - yep, I was an earlyb bird too as I couldn't sleep and decided to get my post ready - was really surprised the link was there!! Thanks for stopping by - and yes, the ink dusters you saw on my desk are designed to do ink blending. Unfortunately, although I have seen lovely effects by others (which prompted me to get them) I still don't always do it right. I think I'm just a bit impatient with inks. However as you have brought them to my attention I might just have a little practice - my DI's haven't been out much lately!! Happy WOYWW, Cindy (Your desk is Uber tidy!!)

  32. Just popping back, I only have an inkjet printer so I can't do anything with digi's that involves water, but I can ink them, tear them, curl the edges etc. One of the ones from the sheet on the desk has had that treatment and it looks really good.

  44. Good for you getting so organized! Right now my die collection is small enough that I haven't moved to an organization plan . . . but CD and DVD cases make a lot of sense!

I, too was thrilled to find the link list up early -- I entered my link so fast, I forgot to make sure it was correct and accidentally linked to last week's post. Oops!
