Twinchies x 2

A second post from me today, to share a couple more twinchies I've made using leftovers. The black mount board pieces were the leftover scraps from the frame on my "shattered" art piece. Scroll down one post or click here.

The images were stamped with VersaMark ink and colored with a dusting of mica powder. It's been ages since I've used this technique. To give each piece a bit of framing, the edges were heat embossed with black embossing powder. I love the way these turned out. Now to incorporate them onto a larger piece.

I'm linking these with the Twinchies Challenge blog - Challenge #4 Floral theme.

See you tomorrow. ;)

Celebrate today!

  5. Hi Nan,

I stopped by to tell you Dawn won't be posting until Monday morning because she lives in the States. However, I was shocked because I know I left you a comment about these twinchies. I know because I was so impressed by the way you edged them with embossing powder (EP). I can't figure out why the post didn't take.

  7. Hi there Nan

I loved reading about this technique on your twinchies and the twinchies themselves are so so darn cute! I recently have got a little crazy about paper tiles and making things that look like it has been ceramic mosaic tiled but it actually is from paper - so seeing this was feeding right into my latest obsession.

Thank you as well for the lovely comments on my last post. I really had such a burden on my heart to to share that tag and my heart. I am glad that you liked it - I was a little hesitant about colouring in the leaves when I started doing it because it seemed to pop right out of the page and the contrast was so stark compared to the muted colours of the background - but I am glad that I did in the end.
