WOYWW 220

Is it Wednesday already? (Well actually tuesday night for me.) Time for our mid-week desk hop. For those out of the loop, check out Julia's place for all the deets at the Stamping Ground.

More p&s going on again today Deskers. The same ai, stains and paint as last week as I'm still working on the wood squares. For the sharp eyed among you...spot the sneak peek? One square is done! Check back on Thursday for the reveal. ;)

New on my desk, is my playing around with a die cut negative using the die cut as a mask. Turned out pretty cool! Love the texture from the paper towel. Think this will make it's way into my next card class. There's a couple of new twinchies made from black mount board leftovers and mica powders. I've added an edge treatment and will be posting these probably on Saturday.

Happy mail came this week! Thank you, Krisha for the super neat postcard art! Love the stencils on the addy side and the cool stamping on the other. I see I might need to get a few more TH stamp sets. ;)

Have a great week everyone! I'll be around to visit and snoop as I can. Mojo is in full swing so I don't like to disrupt her too much. :)

Celebrate the day!

  54. Nan, thanks for visiting me.
I love your stencilled flowers they are gorgeous and lovely colours.
We had about an hour crafting on holiday, my hubby was reading, son in law was out with grandsons so daughter and I just sneaked an hour before lunch to play. All her stuff, I didn't think to take anything as we were only away for three days.
    Happy WOYWW

  55. Yummy stuff going on. I'll try to remember to check back on Thursday for the reveal.

Whenever I punch something out of CS for a card, I save the negative as a stencil for my mixed media projects. If I'm punching several of something, I usually punch from a strip - giving me a 'border' stencil.

  60. I haven't been feeling all that well, my mojo/creativity\ has thrown up a white flag and retreated. I didn't even post this week, or visit many desks last week. So many people getting Happy Mail is very very cool. Wouldn't a happy mail exchange be fun? Like with anyone from the group wanting to join in. I know I love sending happy maik . I see you're using TH Distress pads, if you live in the US, you can get them 1/2 off at joanne.com, they are $2.99, which is cheap. Just throwing that out there in case you might be in the market for some. I hope you are enjoying your weekend. I should hopefully have a post for next week. BTW Congrats on the top spot. (((HUGS)))
