WOYWW 230

Welcome to WOYWW 230! Hosted by Julia.

My desk pic as I leave it Tuesday night. You'll see I'm working on the last MDF square using some TH dp (love these!). Made my own sprays with distress reinkers and stains. And the usual other stuff is there.

Flat Susan has arrived safe and sound. See my first post with her HERE.

Ahh just noticed FS didn't make into this pic. She is standing safely off to the side cause I was spraying inks....I spray everything but my project even using a spray box!

Have a wonderful week.

Celebrate today!

  7. Spraying is such inky fun, but I also tend to spray the whole room when I do! Flat Susan was wise to stay at a safe distance! Have a great WoYWW! Julie Ann xx #20

  13. I like the TH DPs too, although haven't quite got around to buying any yet..scared! Now is that a moustache, a moth or a pair of lips cut out of the brown stock I wonder! I think flat susan neds a little plastic pinny bless her, she spends a lot of time in mild ink peril!!

  15. We usually manage to decorate at least part of the walls when using sprays, despite using a pizza box and a plastic sheet to cover as much of the wall as we can. The trouble is, you aim one way and the spray goes the other.

  16. Oh yes, Nan, sprays get everywhere but where expected :) Glad to read that FS is now safely there with you ... and sensibly avoiding your inky area. Off to catch up with her travel experiences.

Thanks for sharing and I hope you both have a good week. Elizabeth x #42

  20. Lots of inky fun there today! Love my distress products! I do like making my own sprays with distress too as I find they clean up easy (as I am a mess). Hubby saves boxes for me to spray into. Had to look up what FS was, so much fun! Enjoyed reading about her journey around the world. In school we did something similar called Flat Fred. Winnie#55

  22. Sounds like FS ran for cover if that is the case with the sprays, but then you really wouldn't be having a crafty time if you didn't get other things sprayed as well. Happy crafting with FS.

  23. Oh love'n the inky mess this week. I have a foil pan, lined with paper towels for spraying. I finally got tired of cleaning up the over sprays. Took me long enough to figure that one out. LOL

  25. Yes, it was a pasta machine on my desk - the broken one, now repaired hence the cut finger last week.
I am not the world's best sprayer so maybe I need to join your little band - nice results but oh so messy. Glad FS kept out of the way but I a sure she would have washed down.
Hugs, Neet 16 xx - thanks for visiting me earlier - my server has been playing up and I went for a hair trim.

  31. I do love visiting your desk to peek at all your fun things and creating ideas!! I usually dont worry with cleaning stamps and stencils, but I sure hope you washed your brushes out for the night. For spraying, I took a big copy paper box and cut off one of the long sides to make a 3 sided one. It's big enough to hold my Dylusions Journal. I do stand extra manila card stock up though around the inside of the box to catch all the yummy ink over shots to make quick pre-made inky background for tags and such. :)

  37. Spray boxes seem like such a good idea but I have no room left for one! lol Glad FS made it safely and hope you enjoy your adventures with her...I replied to your comment on my desk...the tool is an I-top tool for setting I-top brads and buttons and things. It's pretty handy! :) Thanks for stopping by and leaving me a comment already...Deeyll #107
