WOYWW 243?

Hey there folks,

I missed last week, are we @ 243 this WOYWW week? Hope y'all are doing great...me..well...fighting a cold that won't go away, purging the room of stash and prepping everything for this weekend's sale. And just for good measure my arms n hands are not functioning properly. Cheez!

Oh well, life goes on and so does WOYWW my Desker friends. Not familiar with what WOYWW is then go have a visit with our loverly hostess at the Stamping Ground for all the deets.

Now to the room of stash and the desk! I'm working on assorted bits for a shadow box for my black mini tab pocket album.

I'll try to visit a few of you tho may take me awhile. I've been sitting with my arms bent for too long getting this post ready, so I'll send warm hugs and wish y'all a wonderful week.

Good Tuesday evening, Deskers. Yes I'm linking up with Julia a bit early but it's Wednesday already for Julia. So here we go with another edition of WOYWW.

My pic tonight is of my second desk where I have set aside a work in progress. On Monday my BF aka snowbird friend aka big sis came over and we started working on a mini album using the envelope punch board. We're calling it a Tabbed Page mini. I had made a small sample, that's it in the brown papers, propped up on the punch board.

The idea came from Stamptramp's blog who saw this youtube video Here. I had to watch the video a dozen times in order to get the directions and measurements written down. Soapbox time....if you're going to do a how-to video please be organized!....off soapbox now.

Anyway, it's turning out pretty cool.

As usual, I'll do my best to visit those who visit me.

Have a crafty day!

Hugs from the Girls and me. :)

WOYWW 240!

. . . another year begins.

I'm in the midst of sorting and purging my room of stash. Today I was sorting dies, specifically, Nesties. I keep them in CD/DVD cases and had kept the two sizes in separate boxes until now. I've reduced my collection to five 3 liter storage boxes and combined all of the CD/DVD cases. Keeping them all together means I can sort them alphabetically. A little OCD but it works for me.

I did manage a little bit of craftiness tho, reworked my Florida snowflake. It still has a ways to go before it's finished.

Leave your WOYWW number and I'll do my best to pay a return visit. My apologies for not getting 'round to all who visited me last week. It was a rather unsettling week at my place.

But it's a New Year and times will get better!

Warm hugs to all.

Edit: eek forgot to put a link to Julia at Stamping Ground

Friday Smiles #50

Happy Friday!

Sharing happy mail I received from two wonderful blog friends. Each one gave me a smile on the day it was received and since! Thank you's go out to Kay of 505whimsygirl. Who sent this beautiful card (pic taken by her) of "El Santuario de Chimayo Leaning Cross".

And this beauty from Darnell of djkardkreations. I know she's posted this on her blog but really folks, the shimmer is fab!

Thank you both so much.

I'm linking up with Annie aka Wipso over on A Stitch in Time where we share our pics of something that's made us smile. Do join in for some smiles with friends! Thank you for hosting Annie in the midst if your getting ready to move packing! :)

Warm hugs,

and it's WOYWW time.

Not much happening on my desk today. Bits and bobs leftover from previous projects. I have started a beading project...

What better way to start off this New Year than by joining Julia and some crafty friends for a desk hop?!

I've made some amazing new blog friends the past year through WOYWW! We've cried a little, laughed a lot and learned a ton from each other this past year. And I appreciate each and every one of my crafty friends and followers!

May 2014 be a prosperous, healthy and crafty year for you.

Happy New Year everyone!

Hugs, Nan
