WOYWW 246

Helllooo! I'm baack.

I've sure missed linking up with WOYWW at Julia's
Stamping Ground these past few weeks.

Whew boy, what a crazy hectic month it's been for me. First, the purge and sale of goodies from the room of stash. Which went very well, thank you. Then barely rested after that when T set the cook top on fire! A kitchen towel caught fire and caused a lot of smoke....I mean A LOT of smoke. Took me two weeks of constant cleaning, washing, deorderizing to get my house back to normal and smoke-free! And as a lovely side effect of breathing all the smoke and cleaning fumes I got sick. As I said...whew.

But enough of that as all is well at froggy designs now. I've two desk pics for you today. The first is my work desk looking way too clean. I need to get in there and make an inky painty mess soon. The second desk has all the pieces of a mini album strewn around ready to be assembled.

And lastly, a pic of the electric stove so you'll understand how a mischievous little kitty could turn it on.

It's good to be back! I'll be popping round for a visit throughout the coming days. Please leave your WOYWW number so I can find you.

Have a wonderfully crafty day!

Hugs from me and the mischievous Girls

  3. Hi Nan,
Sorry to hear that you have not been feeling well.
I've had a kitchen fire ( long story) so I know how much damage and smoke it can produce. You must have caught in before much damage was done, as your picture shows a nice clean and shinny kitchen.

Book looks very interesting, desk is way to clean.....LOL

  4. I'm glad you're back, Nan! I've missed you here and I've missed you over at the Playhouse! But I certainly feel badly that you were away for such awful reasons. Thank goodness, the fire wasn't any worse, but that does stink that it made you sick on top of everything else. (Sorry for the pun with "stink.")

Your space looks so tidy and ready for action! I wish you lots of Mojuice flowing through your fingers!! Hugs, Darnell (not Woywwing)

  8. Oh dear, the smoke and the damage that it can cause to you and your surroundings is awful. Just glad it was not any worse though. Poor T must have got a fright!
Hope you are soon ok, seems as if crafting has returned to normal and I look forward to seeing what you made.
Hugs, & Thanks for visiting me earlier - Neet xx 49

  9. Yay! So glad you're back! (You know I missed you!)

(We'll see how the altered book month goes--we're not being terribly organized about it, just all jumping in and posting altered book things. Except Kimberly, she has a plan, good for her--I certainly don't!)

  10. Hi Nan,

Sounds like the girls know how to get crazy in the kitchen. I'm glad you're better and back among us!!

I like the papers you show in your second photo - the butterflies - the colors look great. And is that a card?

Thank you for visiting me already. Yes, my drama is over (for now, and hopefully for a while).

    Happy belated WOYWW

  11. I'm THRILLED you're back. I've missed you, even though I've been quite slow getting here.

OK, tell the truth. You KNOW those lovely girls didn't do that. Even Bleubeard doesn't believe they could have.

Seriously, your desk is really tidy. I wish you felt better, though, so you could find the time to create some lovely art. Please take care and get to feeling better really soon. Happy belated WOYWW from #3 and thanks for visiting me earlier. Enjoy that warm weather, too. You can send some my way, if you like.

  14. Glad you are back, Nan. Sorry the absence was for such horrid reasons, though. It does take ages to get the smell of smoke and burning out of everything, doesn't it? Trust all is now well, and you are properly ensconced in your craft room again.
Take care - smoke inhalation isn't good.

  16. Phew indeed by the sound of it Nan,
It's good to know that you're feeling better and everything is back on track.
I wish I could just nip over to you to watch you work at that lovely desk...I'm really missing ANY desk at the moment.

Take care and tell them girls not to be so minxy! ;D
    Have a great week xoxo
