WOYWW 258

Good evening/morning Deskers!

Only two more weeks to the fifth anniversary of WOYWW! Not sure of what I speak, pay a visit to our intrepid hostess with the mostest, Julia at the Stamping Ground for all the deets. Then join in snooping um, visiting desks with the rest of us and be amazed at the ingenuity and creativity of peeps around the world.

Today I have two desk pics for you. First up is my inky painty desk...not much happening here.

Second pic is the former computer desk now beading station. Taking a break from all the pink sprays and playing with some beads.

I'll be making the rounds of WOYWW desks during the day (Wednesday).

FYI for all my email followers. I've had to discontinue my blog's Feedblitz email notifications. My apologies for any inconvenience this has caused you. Please follow me using Bloglovin or maybe one of the other readers available for free.

Have a great week y'all!

Hugs from me and the Girls.

p.s. for Bleubeard

  1. Your painty, inky desk is sporting some pretty colors. I took today away from the craft desk too, and really got into a book I've been reading. Nice change, but NOTHING gets done if the book is a good one.....and tis one is LOL
    Have a great week

  2. OMGosh. Did Bleubeard go live with you, or is that T? I swear that is Bleu's twin.

Beading is something I only did once, and once was MORE THAN enough. Good luck with it, and I'm sure you have skills I couldn't begin to imagine when it comes to beading. Like your inky page, too. Those colors go so well together.

Thanks for visiting me already. How sweet of you.

  5. Wouldn't it be fun to have space for 4 or 5 desks...just start the project, leave it and on to another. I always wanted 4...for the seasons, but throw in one for paint. Have fun with your projects. Cats are always alert ! #27 off to bed, my plants are covered in fear of frost and my furnace running. Just plain ridiculous.

  6. Hi Nan, good on you for beading.I am a bit of a non-conformer, so following beading patterns is my idea of Hell on Earth, but I do like impromptu beading, and have just finished a whole lot.
Love your puss. Bluebeard's double for sure. Thanks for your lovely comment on my houses.

  9. Do you mean beading as in stringing them or making those intricate patterns with them. The latter I have never tried, doubt I would have the patience or the eyesight. Would love to see your results.
Hope is well with you in your corner of the world.
    Hugs, Neet 13 xx

  10. My hands are too sore these days to even think about beading. I'm so glad you are able to do this. I'm sure you will make lovely pieces!

  11. I'm with Elizabeth, I think the beading would make me go cross eyed, although people say the same thing about knitting complicated patterns on tiny socks, so each to his own, lol!!

  13. The painty messy desk is a masterpieces...several blocks of white waiting to be filled in. For whatever reason beading makes me nervous...or my hands just shake to much...or I'm afraid I'll spill the beads...hehe:) Thanks for the snoop. Be well Carole #44

  23. Love the colors of the the inky/painty station and the gun thing on the beading desk had me turn my head sideways. ( nope, not a beader but, the part that made me think was I wonder if my mama has one ( she makes jewelry) and if she don't if she "needs" one haha. I think I spend more time "shopping" after a round of visiting then any other activity on the web. ;) tfs! Stacy # 98

  27. Hmm... I'm thinking those are some ATC-sized gaps on that fab sheet of vivid pink and orange! The beadwork looks fun, but requiring of patience.... and what a beautiful photo of your cat - the alertness in that expression!
