WOYWW 305 & Helloooo

Hello WOYWW and blog friends!

Technical difficulties and hands that won't work are keeping me from blogging. I do visit your blogs and leave a comment when possible. Sadly, this year I will not be participating in the WOYWW anniversary ATC swap. :( I don't want to make the commitment and not be able to make the ATC s.

My desk pic today (lots of them) is of the finished mini album. A few still pics and a short video so you can see how interactive the pages are. My first mini and video. Quite a feat and a struggle to finish. I do like how the mini turned out but my next one will be bigger than this tiny 4"x4".

I'm using the original Blogger program on my iPad and figuring out how to import pics is a chore. So I'm late linking up with Julia of the Stamping Ground, our hostess. Sorry there's so many pics today Julia. ;)

Enjoy the tour of the mini. Warning...watch out for the gangly guy at the end. He might offer you a drink of his elixir or take a chomp out of you. Looks like he was hungry and chewed down on the flap before him. :) :)

And the still pics:

Care for a drink, dear?

Be well and happy crafting! I will update froggy designs as I can with at least pics of my projects.

Crafty hugs,
Nan and the Girls

p.s. I followed this video to make the pages. Scrapbook Maven (video link)

  1. I'm curious as to what kind of camera you used for your video. I want to try to do videos for you tube but I'm totally off in left field. Send info to smithgfb@bellsouth.net

  2. I'm so sorry to hear your hands are still troubling you. I've been making my cushion covers today and my hands are very painful now too......I've finished them now thankfully and have had to call it a day til tomorrow. I really hope yours improve soon so you can enjoy being creative again.
    Thanks for dropping by earlier.
    Hugs,

  3. Sorry to hear your hands are not cooperating. How frustrating! But you did manage to make a pretty mini book. Well, pretty might not be the right word: scary is better. Lol!
    Have a good week,

  4. Holy spumoni, Nan. I love this book. You can certainly be proud of it. I love all the details and the pictures and humor you used. It is simply wonderful.

Keep your hands safe. Alternate jobs, don't be on the computer too long (as if I have to tell YOU that), use alternating heat and cold to keep the swelling down.

Most of all stay safe and hug both girls. Bleubeard is chomping at the bit to see T, but he understands, because he's gotten camera shy in his old age. Hugs and love to you and the girls from the boys and me!

  9. Fantastic Mini Album and great video. I really must give the videos a go. It looks as though the camera was in front of you? I am very curious and it seems really difficult to find any good tutorials and advice re. how it's done. Do you have any tips?
Happy crafty week, Angela x 24

  11. Helloooo to you too! Sorry so long between visits at the moment, and I don't even have internet difficulties as a good excuse... just too much on, as seems to be usual now!!

Am completely blown away by your mini - I've been poring over it and I love the use of the papers and images, fabulous interactive pockets and that wonderful fold out skeleton - it's utterly brilliant. Going to check out your video too now! Have a lovely weekend.

  14. Thanks for the visit already. I buy the hats at a fancy dress shop. I draw the line at making them from scratch, though I probably could... I use a blogger app to do my posts on my iPad sometimes and even then my photos seem to have a mind of their own! No18

  16. Dear sweet Nan. Bleubeard and I have just been handed your package from the postal carrier. He was running late, and I was standing on the front porch hoping he would see my flag, since I had a letter I needed to send. Lo and behold, I got something far more wonderful than that letter I was sending.

Now Bleubeard and I are going to open it, and enjoy it over our evening meal (OK, my meal, because the boys eat all day). Bleubeard believes that T had something to do with addressing the envelope, and is rubbing all over it. Thank you in advance. Whatever it is, you are TOO kind.
