More cards

Good day everyone!

Here's a couple more cards from me. I'm loving the stamps from Altenew! They're easy for me layer, which is saying something! These two were also inspired by a video from Jennifer McGuire.

This next one I was just playing around...practicing using a brushing motion with ink on a stencil. Cool! A new way for me to be able to use ink and a stencil instead of pouncing I'll be brushing. And I wanted to try partial die cutting so I just stamped the flower without any real thought to placement. In other words the layout could be better but hey, it's a practice piece.

Well, that's what I've been up to lately.

It's a long Memorial holiday weekend for those in the US. Means BBQ, Indianapolis 500 and NASCAR races for me! Enjoy the weekend everyone!

Circle Blooms

Hey y'all,
Back with a quick share. Been playing with acrylic paint this week in my new Canson mixed media journal. The pages can be removed and then put back in. Love that!
This piece was inspired by Tracy Weinzapfel's Mixed Media Monday on 3/28/16. I'm enjoying learning something new that can easily be done with one hand.
Hope you like. I sure do.

Two for one

Hello my friends!

Yes, it's only been a couple of weeks and I'm back with some more cards. Have been playing around with some new layering floral stamps from Altenew. And they have dies to match the stamped images! Love these!

Anyway, I decided to try my hand at CASE'ing a card design by Jennifer McGuire, that I saw on her YouTube channel, here.

Here's my version of them. The one on the left is a sympathy card and the one on the right will be a birthday card.

Hope all those who are Mothers had a wonderful Mother's Day!

Crafty hugs,
