Circle Blooms

Hey y'all,
Back with a quick share. Been playing with acrylic paint this week in my new Canson mixed media journal. The pages can be removed and then put back in. Love that!
This piece was inspired by Tracy Weinzapfel's Mixed Media Monday on 3/28/16. I'm enjoying learning something new that can easily be done with one hand.
Hope you like. I sure do.
Crafty hugs,
Nan and the Girls

  1. It's so bright and cheerful Nan, a great design.
I haven't played with acrylic paints for ages... you've inspired me to have a go. I love that journal idea of being able to pull the pages in and out.
Have a wonderful weekend with your girls... enjoy!

  3. I stopped by to answer the question you asked me about the birthday card. Apparently I did NOT receive it, because the last gift I received from you was the lovely Christmas card and photo of T and Baby (who is no longer a baby). At least I can appreciate the beauty of it on your blog.

While I'm here, I wanted to let you know how much I like those colors and the wonderful flowers you have created. I may soon have to learn to use my left hand exclusively, since my right wrist is still not well (happened back in Sept. last year). I really like that these pages can be removed to work on. That sounds like something I would like because I would LOVE to be able to sew on some of my collaged or painted papers.

I promise to look around, but I'm sure if I didn't let you know I got it, and it doesn't appear I did (let you know), then I didn't get your lovely card.
